If I add the information that Radio 9 is the brainchild of the man behind the Kosmische krautclub…then you shouldn’t be in any doubt as to the frequency to which Radio 9 tune. Of course, in a kind of poacher-turned-gamekeeper scenario, it’s not surprising to find that when the DJs get into the studio they can create music of this quality because they know exactly what makes a track work. Pick of the four is “Moving In Two Directions” which just shades it over the title cut by virtue of the slightly funkier groove loop and a Spaceman vocal. robots + elec brains
